Sat. Oct. 29th, Mixed Conditions, Light Rain to Partly Sunny, 55 Degrees

Meet Highlights:

  • The Enumclaw Hornets came away from the 4A West Central District Cross Country Meet with four individual runners qualified for the WIAA 4A State Championship Cross Country Meet next week in Pasco.

  • Hunter Storm ran to a top-25 finish in a time significantly faster that her clocking last year. She will be joined at Sun Willows Golf Course on November 5th by Sophomore Payton Roberson. Payton cracked the top 50, earning her a spot as one of the best of the best from the Westside Classic to continue on to next week. She also posted a major improvement relative to her time from last year.

  • Alec Ritter ran to a 29th place finish, followed by teammate Teagan Eldridge in 35th position. As with the girls, a top-56 placing is needed to qualify for a state meet berth. Congratulations to them both.

  • We are excited for the opportunity to compete next weekend at Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco. We are proud of how both teams have performed in our debut season in the new 4A classification.
