The season came to a close for the Enumclaw High boys when they participated in the North Puget Sound League’s Olympic Division tournament.

The one-day tourney, staged at Auburn High, determined who would advance to the NPSL crossover tournament and who would put their rackets away for the season.

The EHS effort was headed by the doubles team of Jackson Zuydhoek and Cole Bowen, who won their opening match. They defeated and Auburn duo in three sets and advanced to the second round. That resulted in defeat at the hands of a Decatur pair, thus ending the season.

Enumclaw’s second doubles entry consisted of Tyler Ediger and Carter Eldridge. They opened with a first-set victory over a Todd Beamer team but then dropped two and were ousted.

Representing Enumclaw in singles play were Keagan VanHoof, Devyn Anagli and Alex Roth. All lost opening-round matche... Click here to read full article
