EHS XC Meet Results 2018
Away Meet vs. Auburn Mountain View & Thomas Jefferson, Isaac Evans Park Course (5k)
Wed. Sept. 12th, Cloudy, Calm, 60 Degrees

Meet Highlights:
• The Hornets returned from Isaac Evans Park with three team wins out of four contests.
• On the Boys side Sam Lingwall, Dominic Deady and Jacob Dickson lead a 1-2-3 finish against both Auburn Mountain View and Thomas Jefferson, sealing the double dual win for the Hornets. All three runners were well under the 17-minute mark on the flat and fast home course of the Lions.
• Seth Coons and Kyle Revell both finished in the mid-17 minute range while Foster Barnhart and Tyler Watts rounded out the varsity 7 for the Hornets.
• The Lady Hornets were paced by veterans Payton Roberson, followed closely by fellow senior and co-captain Piper Laymen, in our regular season opener in Auburn.
• Newcomer Megan Ogburn showed fantastic potential crossing the line in 3rd spot for the Hornets. Close behind was Kristen Dickson, a 9th grader running under 23 minutes on debut.
• Although The Lady Hornets fell to a talented and well-coached squad of young women from Thomas Jefferson, they can hold their heads high. We look forward to next week and our first competition at Nolte State Park! We would love to see as many community members out to cheer us on as possible.
