Good morning Hornets. This is your midweek sports report. Congratulations on an exciting Homecoming week full of success for many of our sports teams. On Wednesday the Hornet boys golf team enjoyed a big win on senior night vs Hazen 86-44, the Hornet girls cross country team beat Thomas Jefferson 22-39, and the Water Polo team left the pool feeling great about their win over Kentwood 16-11. On Thursday the girls swim and dive team continued to dominate the league beating Todd Beamer 131-52. On Friday the boys tennis team wrapped up their 2nd place finish in league by beating Decatur 3-2. And in the nightcap in front of a standing room only crowd our football team celebrated an exciting win over Federal Way 27-15. On Monday the Volleyball team continued its winning ways as they swept Federal way 3-0 and remain undefeated in league play along with the Girls Golf team who won in thrilling fashion over Auburn Mountainview 82-75 on Senior night.
