EHS INTRODUCES TERRY JOHNSON AS THE NEW HEAD BOYS' BASKETBALL COACH

EHS introduces Terry Johnson as the new Head Boys' Basketball Coach

| 6/22/2016

On behalf of the Enumclaw High School Athletic Department we are happy to announce that Terry Johnson has been hired as our new Head Boys’ Basketball Coach for the 2016 season.

Terry Johnson has spent 19 years coaching basketball at both the high school and college level. Most recently Terry was an assistant coach at Saint Martin's University in Lacey, WA. Terry’s head coaching experiences have included time at Lake Washington High School, Auburn Riverside High School, Auburn Mountainview High School, and Centennial High School in Tennessee. While at Auburn Riverside the girls’ team won a state championship in 2009-10, finishing 29-0 and nationally ranked.  As a head coach Terry’s teams have won championships, his coaching staffs have helped numerous players move on to the collegiate level, but according to Terry the most important accomplishment has been the development of incredible life-long relationships with many of the players he has had the opportunity to coach.

Terry’s family is very excited about the opportunity to come and establish themselves for a long time in Enumclaw Basketball and in the Enumclaw community. Terry  has an incredible appreciation for the history and tradition of the basketball program and the unique community support for the student-athletes. Terry’s family is committed to working hard for the current and future Hornets. Terry is joined by his wife Kami and their two children, Kaidyn (6) and Logan (3) who are all grateful for the opportunity to join the Enumclaw community.
